Learn the Most Basic Airsoft Gun Games Rule

One reason air soft guns are so popular is because there are so many ways to enjoy playing with them. You can use them to target shoot on your own, but many air soft gun enthusiasts prefer playing games with other shooters.

Air soft gun games are a great way to socialize, get healthy exercise and have fun. If you’re new to multi-player shooting games, take the time to thoroughly learn all the rules of the game you’re playing before joining in.

The most basic rule of all to learn and follow in air soft shooting games is what constitutes a "hit." This is a key concept because being hit may end a two player game, or have a player removed "out" of play in multi-player games. Different games may have different rules regarding what is and isn’t allowed by players, but a hit always takes a player out of the game.

A hit occurs when the player is shot, and a hit anywhere on the body or gear counts as a hit. A hit to a weapon does not however constitute a hit. Regardless of who shoots the player, it counts as a hit – even if it’s the result of friendly fire instead of a shot by an enemy opponent.

When a hit occurs, the player should raise his or her arms high and yell out, "I’m hit" to notify other players he or she is out of the game. After a hit, the player heads to the designated safe zone and must not communicate with others still playing in the game.

Anytime you are hit in an air soft gun game, you must acknowledge the hit, even if you don’t believe anyone saw you. Refusing to leave a game by pretending not to be hit is cheating, and it is a guaranteed way to avoid being invited to play air soft gun games in the future.
